Wow how time flies. Korbin is doing so well. He was sick over the last couple of days with hand, foot, and mouth. He is feeling much better so we will be off to work/school tomorrow. He has been so clingy and attached at the hip these last few days and although I love that he wants me to care for him every second of every day, some personal space would be lovely. This last Saturday we moved in with my mom to save on expenses and the move, although back breaking and exhausting, will be a great move in the long run. Both in saving expenses and for Korbin bonding with grammy. Exciting news, as far as a mommy is concerned. Korbin both pooped and peed in the toilet over the last couple of days. He was so darn proud of himself that he clapped afterward and said, ‘yeah!”
Ohhhhhh…..but the best news ever. Korbins case went to adoption last week. I meet with the adoption social worker on Wednesday. How exciting. He really is going to be mine forever. I feel like such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and now, only now can I truly let down these, what if he leaves defenses, and attach to this little boy that will be driving me crazy and making me smile FOREVER!!
I have one wicked cold, so I can update some more in the next few days.
